Measures of the National Assembly for Wales

The Government of Wales Act 2006 devolved power to make primary legislation in relation to matters set out in the Act to the National Assembly for Wales sitting in Cardiff. This legislation takes the form of ‘Measures’. The Assembly had earlier been established by the Government of Wales Act 1998 with powers to legislate by means of secondary legislation in the form of Statutory Instruments.

Measures of the National Assembly for Wales are published in both the English and Welsh languages (although the Welsh versions are not carried on SLD at present).

Assembly Measures are held on SLD and revised.
