Inserted Provisions in N.I. Legislation

There is a problem with the presentation of whole provisions that have been inserted or substituted in Northern Ireland primary legislation. The text is not enclosed within brackets as it should be and is not displayed in blue colour. The footnote giving authority for the amendment is appearing at the next level of division (e.g. cross-heading, Part) above the inserted or substituted provision. We are considering options for a solution to this problem as a matter of urgency. [25.4.2007]

Annotations and Annotation Types

In Acts dating from before the basedate (1 February 1991) you will find that some annotations are listed under the wrong annotation type. For example, editorial information may appear under the annotation types for amendments or modifications. These will be progressively corrected in the course of update work.
